HAWAII POLICE COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />OLD MAYOR'S OFFICE CONFERENCE ROOM <br />KAILUA -KONA <br />This public hearing was held to afford all persons the opportunity to submit data, views, or <br />arguments, orally or in writing, to the Police Commission for its consideration prior to the adoption <br />of the proposed amendments to its rules and regulations. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Whittemore called the meeting to order at 9:25 a.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Tom Whittemore, Chair <br />Donn Mende, Vice Chair <br />Carol Ignacio, Commissioner <br />T. Ka'ili Pe'a- Ferrari, Commissioner <br />Michael Sumja, Commissioner <br />Absent: Michelle Kualii, Commissioner <br />Also Present: Harry Kubojiri, Police Chief <br />Paul Ferreira, Deputy Chief <br />Marshall Kanehailua, Assistant Chief <br />Henry Tavares, Assistant Chief <br />Molly Lugo, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br />Josie Pelayo, Secretary <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS — None. <br />Corporation Counsel Lugo stated this public hearing is for statements from the public.
