<br />Notes from Growth Management Subcommittee Meeting November 5, 2012 <br />Attendees: Jim Pedersen, Jeff Allen, Jesse Wells, and Hermann Fernandez <br />The subcommittee reviewed the tentative subdivision approval letter for the <br />James Sargent 5-lot subdivision in Hawi. Jim Pedersen explained the conditions <br />required to obtain final subdivision approval. The main requirements are <br />providing potable water and fire suppression water to all lots, and paving Hua <br />Lane and the roadway inside the subdivision. <br />Hermann announced the new Planning Dept policy: the Planning Director will <br />inform the NKCDP AC Chair promptly of major new land use permit applications <br />in North Kohala. Hopefully, this will allow the AC to make timely comments to the <br />Planning Dept. regarding pending applications. <br />Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 3, 2012 from 6:00 – 7:00 <br />pm at Surety’s office in Hawi. <br />
