Minutes of the Meeting of January 14, 2013. <br />REPORTS <br />1) <br />NKCDP AC SUBCOMMITTEE REPORTS (30 minutes) – NKCDP AC members will report on <br />the recent activity of the subcommittees: <br />a. Growth Management – The subcommittee will report on land use applications <br />submitted to the Planning Department. <br />b. Public Access – The subcommittee will provide an update on activities at: Hapu’u- <br />Kapanaia; Halelua; Kauhola Lighthouse; and Upolu Airport Restoration. The <br />subcommittee will also provide an update on grant of easement documents and Old <br />Government roads and railroads. <br />a. Parks and Water Improvement – The subcommittee will provide an update on the <br />water improvement project and their meetings held last month. <br />Power, View Planes and Erosion Control – The subcommittee will provide <br />b. updates on <br />proposed coordination of routes for the electricity reliability/redundancy loop for North <br />Kohala, view plane protection, and rural infrastructure erosion prevention methods. <br />c. Affordable Housing – The subcommittee will provide updates on affordable housing <br />and land. <br />d.
