MOUNTAIN VIEW VILLAGE CENTER PLAN <br /> WORKING GROUPS MEETING <br /> MARCH 13, 2014, 6:OOPM,MOUNTAIN VIEW SCHOOL CAFETERIA <br /> In attendance: Frank Commendador, Patti Pinto, Marcia May, Hannah Hedrick, Heidi Hutchinson,Nadine <br /> Robertson, Mark Robertson, Susan Langer, Anita Owen, John Owen, Sarah Shiraki, I.A. Naholowa'a, Kukuna <br /> Tringali, Lorna Higgs, Tim Law, Susan Law, Tim Fondren <br /> • Frank Commendador opened the meeting at 6:00 with continued discussion of the Survey. It was agreed <br /> that we will abandon our attempts to collect survey data from the area schools. Frank reports that he talked <br /> with State Representative, Richard Onishi, seeking help with the D.O.E. Mr. Onishi reported that he was <br /> unable to get the D.O.E. to allow the survey into the school, but he offered to include an abridged version of <br /> our survey in his June newsletter. We formed a sub-committee to create a 10 question survey that we can <br /> use both with Representative Onishi's newsletter and as our on-going free survey on Survey Monkey. <br /> Survey Sub-Committee members are: Sarah Shiraki, Heidi Hutchinson, Susan Langer, Patti Pinto. The <br /> 10 question survey will be available for review at our next meeting.Nadine is to get paper surveys from <br /> Fun Run to Frank, Frank will drop them off at the FACA office for Patti. Patti and Susan to enter <br /> remaining surveys in Survey Monkey. <br /> • Review of our information collection efforts on the Asset Survey of Mountain View. <br /> Marcia reported on her conversation with the Fire Department. Fire Hydrants are monitored by Department <br /> of Water Supply. Marcia agreed to ask someone from the Fire Department to speak at our June meeting. <br /> Patti shared a list of State, County and Private roads in the Mountain View and surrounding areas. <br /> We agreed to continue our efforts with Asset Survey information gathering. Frank agreed to ask a member <br /> of Water Department to speak at our May meeting. <br /> 1. Water Service: Frank and Nadine <br /> 2. Fire Service: Marcia <br /> 3. Roads: Patti <br /> 4. Amateur Radio: Peggy <br /> • Invitation to Mountain View Planners to testify at the upcoming Action Committee meeting on points of <br /> connectivity in the Mountain View area. <br /> PCDP Action Committee next meeting is Tuesday, April 8, 2014, 3:00 pm at the Kea'au Community <br /> Center. <br /> • Short discussion on how we will format our data, having a website, perhaps a Mountain View page on Face <br /> Book. <br /> Our next meeting will be April 10, 2014, 6:00pm at the <br /> Mountain View School Cafeteria <br />
