We would particularly like to acknowledge your continued efforts to promote and protect the security of wild sourced food by vetoing HB 1089 Relating to a State Boating Facility Lease Pilot Program. We also applaud your ongoing efforts for sustainability, transparency and accountability with Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation's Small Boat Harbors. Small boat harbors and ramps are the only access to ocean resources. More locally caught fish is consumed in Hawaii that all the local chicken, eggs, pork, and beef combined.
