Class Information
AGE: Must be 55 years of age and older to participate.
FACILITY RULES: Service animals are welcome. Comfort animals and pets are not permitted on County
Premises. Please refrain from bringing children/minors to classes.
ENROLLMENT: Registration will be closed when the class limit is met. Class size is dependent on room size
and student/teacher ratio. You will need an Elderly Activities Division Senior Identification card to participate in
activities. If you do not have an identification card please call the ERS office to schedule an appointment. ERS
Release of Claims/Emergency Information Form must be completed prior to starting activities.
SPRING REGISTRATION: General pubwill start Monday, MARCH M 2026 @ 9:00 AM at the Keaau
Community Center. Registration will continue through Friday, APRIL 10. 2026 at Keaau Community Center.
NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 10. PLEASE, NO REGISTRATION BY TELEPHONE. Register
by writing your name, telephone # and email address on the class Registration sheet. Payment will be
collected when classes begins. Pre -registration for each class will be available prior to the end of W i me r
Qtr. for students currently enrolled in the class. If you decide to drop the course before the 2nd class, please
call the ERS office at 966-5801 & "no shows" will be removed from the attendance after the 2nd class.
SUMMER QUARTER: Registration will begin Monday, JUNE 15, 2026 and end on Friday, July 17, 2026 with
classes beginning on Monday, JULY 6. Pre -registration for students currently enrolled in a course will be on the
last days of class in the Spring Quarter. No pre -registration by telephone.
CLASS COST: Participants will be required to pay a registration fee per class. The CURRENT CLASS fee is
$20.00 for the entire session whether it's 8, 9, or 10 classes and will collected at the first and second class.
The monies will be used to support all ERS programs and activities. No refunds after the second class. Do
not pay at the office. Please pay in class. If paying with cash please bring exact amount. Make checks out
to: County Director of Finance. Credit Cards are not accepted.
