CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 24, 2018 <br /> <br />3. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />4. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />a. Revisit and discuss process to track motions and suggest possible follow-up on <br />previous motions. <br /> <br />b. Update on water sustainability and water quality white paper and plans. <br /> <br />5. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />a. Begin a review process for alternatives to conventional and costly wastewater <br />treatment plants, to include: <br /> <br />(1) Wastewater flow reduction technology and policy <br />(2) Advanced R-1 systems <br />(3) Neighborhood scale systems <br />(4) Form a study committee <br /> <br />b. Discussion on Bill 192 (Draft 2), which was referred by the County Council’s <br />Environmental Management Committee to this Commission for comment and <br />recommendation. Bill 192 seeks to establish an Environmental Quality Control <br />Program to mitigate nuisance factors at County facilities managed by the <br />Department of Environmental Management, such as improperly handled refuse <br />and wastewater, feral cats, dogs, and other animals abandoned or released at <br />DEM facilities. <br /> <br /> <br />
