Res. 57-23: URGES THE HAWAII STATE LEGISLATURE TO AMEND CHAPTER 457J,
HAWAII REVISED STATUES, RELATING TO MIDWIVES, TO PERMANENTLY
EXEMPT BIRTH ATTENDANTS FROM STATE LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
AND TO EXPAND THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MIDWIFERY LICENSURE
Supports the passage of Senate Bill No. 1047 and House Bill No. 955.
