She has observed <br />several of their meetings and is also currently serving as a member of the Solid Waste Advisory <br />Committee. Her career started with the EPA in Washington, where she worked on writing <br />regulations. She later moved to Minnesota and worked 24 years for 3M Company as a <br />corporate environmental, health and safety manager, and later became a consultant on her <br />own. She moved to Hawaiʻi five and a half years ago to get away from the snow. <br /> <br />
