Motion passed unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF ADDENDUM AND/OR SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA <br />3.: Ono requested <br />Frequency of Commission Meetings be added to the agenda. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON ITEMS LISTED ON AGENDA <br />4.: <br />Nelson Ho, Recycle Hawai`i, presented a wrap-up report of Phase I of Keaau Recycle and <br />Reuse Center, noting the successful project reached 164% of the targeted goal. He thanked <br />Department Director Bell, Solid Waste Division Chief Tyson and Solid Waste <br />Superintendent Gonsalves for their support. <br />Hugh Ono reported that Riley Smith was selected Hawai`i County State Engineer of the <br />Year and Dennis Lee was selected Statewide Engineer of the Year. <br />CORRESPONDENCE/REPORTS/DISCUSSION: <br />5. <br />DirectorÓs Report <br />(attached to original minutes) <br />SORT STATION: <br /> <br />Final EIS was published February 23, 2004. March 8, 2004 is the date for approval being <br />published in OEQC bulletin. <br /> <br />Legal challenge period is 60 days from formal approval date of March 8, 2004. <br /> <br />Final EIS is available in hard copy, CD, on Department website and at all State Public <br />Libraries. <br /> <br />Phase I - Design, is completed and construction Invitation for Bids (IFB) should go out in <br />March. <br /> <br />
