Sako <br />Director <br />Steven A. Hunt <br />Deputy Director <br />The County of Hawaii has been awarded $25,000 in state funds from the State of Hawaii <br />Department of Transportation. These funds will be used to advance the Hilo Bay Watershed <br />Study related to the breakwater and water quality improvements. <br />k <br />O. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $25,000 <br />grant. The Planning Department is requesting that this bill be waived from Finance Committee <br />and be placed on the September 2, 2020 Council agenda to expedite the receipt of these funds.
