No. 715-20 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 715-20, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 715-20, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 1042 <br /> dated August 13, 2020, authorizes the grant of easement for utility purposes at Koholalele, District of <br /> Hamakua, County and State of Hawai`i, Tax Map Keys: 4-2-005:001 (por.), and 4-2-005:005 (por.) to <br /> Hawai`i Electric Light Company, Inc. <br /> This resolution provides that Hawai`i Electric Light Company seeks to increase its interest from a <br /> Revocable Rights of Entry Agreement to a grant of easement in exchange for a payment of$26,300 to <br /> continue maintenance of the utility poles and lines providing service to its customers. <br /> A motion to move Resolution No. 715-20 to Council with a positive recommendation was made by <br /> Council Member Valerie T. Poindexter, and seconded by Council Member Herbert M. T.
