State of Hawaii Department of Education Comment Summary: Since the Project is located across from Waiakea High School ("School"), the Applicant should consult with the School prior to and during construction to identify and minimize project impacts to School operations. Applicant Response: The Applicant communicated with the Department of Education's Acting Land Use Planner, Ms. Robyn Loudermilk, through email confirming we will consult and coordinate with the School prior to and during construction. Ms. Loudermilk provided the Applicant with the School administration's contact information. Email correspondence between the Department of Education and the Applicant is attached. County of Hawal`i. Department of Water Supply Comment Summary: Stated that the Department of Water Supply does not exempt the requirement to pay the facilities charge. Applicant Response: The Applicant acknowledges that the Department of Water Supply does not exempt the facilities charge requirement that was requested as a part of the 201H Application Package, Exemption Request No. 5. The Applicant understands that if the County Council does not approve this exemption, then the Applicant will comply with any requirements to pay the applicable facilities charge estimated to total $491,190.00.
