Ms. Carreira informed the Applicant that the planned bus routes have changed since their <br />July 8, 2020 comment letter and that there is no longer a need to provide a bus shelter with a bus <br />pullout for the Project. Ms. Carreira did request that we coordinate with her agency for future on-site <br />access for their liele-On Kako'o paratransit service and Hele-On shared ride program. The Applicant <br />will continue to coordinate with the Mass Transit Agency regarding future site access as the Project <br />advances. <br />Email correspondence between the Mass Transit Agency and the Applicant is attached. <br />County of Hawaii. Department of Environmental Maumment <br />Comment Summary: The department stated that the Wastewater Division has no sewer connection <br />fee and therefore the Applicant's requested sewer connection fee exemption is not required. <br />Applicant Response: Acknowledge that the sewer connection fee requested in the 201H Application <br />Package, Exemption Request No. 5 is not needed. <br />State of Hawaii. Department of Transportation <br />Comment Summary: No objections. <br />Applicant Response: Acknowledge receipt. <br />State of Hawaii Department of Education <br />Comment Summary: Since the Project is located across from Waiakea High School ("School"), the <br />Applicant should consult with the School prior to and during construction to identify and minimize <br />project impacts to School operations. <br />Applicant Response: The Applicant communicated with the Department of Education's Acting <br />Land Use Planner, Ms. Robyn Loudermilk, through email confirming we will consult and coordinate <br />with the School prior to and during construction. Ms. Loudermilk provided the Applicant with the <br />School administration's contact information. <br />Email correspondence between the Department of Education and the Applicant is attached. <br />County of Hawal`i. Department of Water Supply <br />Comment Summary: Stated that the Department of Water Supply does not exempt the requirement <br />to pay the facilities charge. <br />Applicant Response: The Applicant acknowledges that the Department of Water Supply does not <br />exempt the facilities charge requirement that was requested as a part of the 201H Application <br />Package, Exemption Request No. 5. The Applicant understands that if the County Council does not <br />approve this exemption, then the Applicant will comply with any requirements to pay the applicable <br />facilities charge estimated to total $491,190.00. <br />
