No. 107/Res.No. 40-21 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:33 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 40-21, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 40-21, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 107 <br /> dated January 28, 2021, authorizes the acceptance of a donation of six Intoxilyzer 8000 breath test <br /> instruments to the County of Hawaii Police Department. <br /> This resolution accepts the donation provided by the Maui Police Department valued at approximately <br /> $42,000. <br /> Traffic Safety Coordinator Torey Keltner of the Police Department came forward to address the <br /> members of Your Committee and expressed appreciation for this donation, He commented that the <br /> department currently uses the same Intoxilyzer 8000 machines, which are seven years old.
