Prior to 2012 the <br />Multifamily HOME funds were evenly distributed to <br />rental new the three neighbor -island Counties. In <br />construction 2012 the HHFDC decided to change the <br />Multifamily method of distributing the HOME funds. <br />rental rehab The HHFDC decided to allocate the <br />New HOME funds on a three year rotation <br />construction for basis beginning with Hawaii County <br />ownership followed by Kauai County and Maui <br />TBRA County. The designated County will <br />receive the entire allocation of HOME <br />funding less the allowable administrative <br />funding which will be retained by the <br />HHFDC.
