Exhibit A Page V <br /> Parks & Recreation <br /> The Parks Maintenance division's salaries and wages were increased to reflect the <br /> conversion of a 3/5-time Park Caretaker I position into a full-time position. The <br /> Recreation division also increased salaries and wages to convert a 1/2-time Account <br /> Clerk position into a full-time position. <br /> The Parks Maintenance division also increased their building and construction <br /> materials account due to revised estimates of the cost of building repairs and <br /> maintenance and added the purchase of a boom truck and an eight-yard compactor <br /> rubbish truck rear loader to their motor vehicle equipment account. <br /> Environmental Management <br /> Salaries and Wages in the Administrative division were increased to reflect the <br /> funding of an existing Clerk Ill position that was previously unfunded. Adjustments <br /> were also made to the computer and office equipment accounts to provide the <br /> resources necessary for this position. <br /> Miscellaneous <br /> The General Fund subsidy to the Solid Waste Fund was increased to compensate <br /> for an associated reduction of projected Fund Balance in this fund. A new account <br /> was added to transfer funds to the Community Benefit Fund. The County Pensions - <br /> Bonus and Post-Employment Benefits accounts were increased, while the Health <br /> Benefits were reduced in order to align with current estimates. <br /> The Miscellaneous Claims and Judgements account was increased due to revised <br /> estimates of need. The Workers Compensation account was increased to reflect <br /> revised forecasts due to current trends and the interest on GO bonds (County <br /> portion) was increased to add new BANS. Due to the revised estimation of real <br /> property taxes to be collected, transfers to the Disaster/Emergency, Public Access, <br /> Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) and PONC <br /> Maintenance funds were increased. <br /> Housing's Tenant Based Rent Assist program, OHCD Administration, Habitat for <br /> Humanity -Affordable Homes for Puna Families and University Heights Home <br /> Reconstruction program income accounts were added to the Home Program section <br /> and their West Kawili Street SeniorNeteran Housing and associated OHCD <br /> Administration accounts were added to the Housing Grants section. <br />
