REQUEST: <br /> Prepare County Council submittal authorizing the County of Hawaii Department of Liquor Control (DLC) to <br /> enter into a Lease Agreement for a period of four (4) years and eleven (11) months at 75-5706 Kuakini <br /> Highway in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. DLC will be moving to Hanama Place from the West Hawaii Civic Center to <br /> provide additional office space needed by the Office of Corporation Counsel. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The County of Hawaii Department of Liquor Control proposes to lease units #103 and #107 at Hanama <br /> Place consisting of 2,162 square feet (1,078 s.f. and 1,084 s.f.) owned by Puna Plantation Hawaii, Limited <br /> for Liquor Control's use as staff offices and a conference/meeting room.
