REQUEST. <br /> Resolution authorizing County (via R & D) to enter into agreement with the University of Hawaii, to provide <br /> funding for its "Prevention and Management of Little Fire Ants in Farms" program. The funding to provide <br /> $15,000.06 to reduce the negative impact of invasive species on agricultural crops through research and <br /> educational program. <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS DEEDED :. <br /> Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes § 46-7, the County may enter into agreements with "any public body" <br /> with the consent of Council.
