s+tYro`''?y <br /> COUNTY F HAWAII `' °° STATE OF HAWAIII <br /> SOLUTION N . :199 21 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW INFORMATION <br /> SYSTEMS ANALYST IV POSITION FOR THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Fire Department is in need of an <br /> Information Systems Analyst IV position to provide direct island wide <br /> technological support for the department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Fire Department has over 300 <br /> computers, a variety of programs and technical processes specific to the <br /> department; and <br /> WHEREAS, with the creation of an Information Systems Analyst IV, <br /> SR-22, position, the department will be better equipped to provide enhanced <br /> services to the public and increase safety within Hawaii County; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that one (1) Information Systems Analyst IV, SR-22, position be <br /> created in the Hawaii County Fire Department. <br />
