REQUEST.- <br /> The OHCD is requesting to amend the Ordinance No. 21-38, the 2021-2022 Operating Budget by increasing <br /> the appropriating revenues in the following account: <br /> 065.3309 23 Federal-Workforce innovation &Opportunity Act(WIOA) $ 4Q127.00 <br /> Also, the OHCD is requesting the expenditure accounts be increased to reflect the selected projects for the <br /> above-mentioned WIOA Federal Grant: <br /> 065.432.5433.24 WIOA-Adult Program 2020-21 $ 40,127,00 <br /> B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> This increase in appropriation amends the total actual fund allocation by the State Department of Labor and <br /> industrial Relations for the PY 20 WIOA Program, These funds will be utilized to assist adults by providing <br /> services that will train individuals to increase employment, retention, earnings, skills and literacy and thereby <br /> improving the quality of the-Adults/Dislocated Workers/Youth, reducing welfare dependency and enhancing <br /> the productivity and competitiveness of the local economy, <br /> The OHCD emphasizes that no County General Funds are involved in these transactions.
