Sayre Memorial Foundation <br /> The County of Hawaii wishes to provide $250,000 to the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial <br /> Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The grant will be used in conjunction with <br /> other resources to purchase a helicopter to be donated to the County of Hawaii Fire <br /> Department. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the County of Hawaii to provide $250,000 to the <br /> Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation, pursuant to Hawaii County Code (2005 Edition <br /> as amended) Chapter 2, Article 25, Section 2-139(a)(3)(A). <br /> We respectfully request that a breach be authorized to submit this resolution after the <br /> November 18, 2021 submission deadline, and to waive it from the Finance Committee in <br /> order to be placed on the December 8, 2021 Council agenda.
