Peace Pales are intended to inspire unity among people of all cultures, ethniaities, and backgrounds. <br /> Peace Poles have been placed in such notable locations as the North Magnetic Pole, the Hiroshima Peace <br /> Memorial in Japan and the site of the Egyptian Pyramids in Giza. <br /> The East Hawaii Rotary Club's Peace Committee is celebrating the 100th-1 01st Anniversary of the Rotary Club <br /> of Hila, as the second oldest Rotary Club in the State of hawaii.
