The property is located 15- <br /> 3070 Pahoa-Kapoho Road, on the southeast corner of its intersection with Pahoa-Kalapana Road <br /> • <br /> (Highway 130), across from Pahoa High School_-at Kahiahiku Homesteads, Puna,Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council for PL- <br /> REZ-2021-000008 <br /> with the following condition change: <br /> • Condition K (Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk) the Commission voted to replace the Director's _ <br /> recommended-condition requiring roadway improvements, including the-construction of <br /> curb, gutters, and sidewalks, with condition language that would allow an ADA- <br /> compliant, 8-foot wide, paved pedestrian path within the subject property, encumbered by <br /> an access easement that will allow for unrestricted public access until such time as the <br /> property's Pahoa-Kapoho Road (Highway 132) frontage is improved with sidewalks. <br /> The applicant is requesting a change of zone from a Single-Family Residential <br /> (RS-10) zoning -district to a Village Commercial-20,000 square feet (CV-20) zoning • <br /> district for the subject, 1.545-acre property.
