BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br /> The equipment was purchased with CARES ACT funds by the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency to <br /> support COVID-19 response operations within the State of Hawaii. The Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency <br /> requested these items to increase the County's ability to sanitize indoor public space in County facilities that <br /> were open to the public to receive County services. The purpose of this request was to ensure the safest <br /> environment possible when providing services to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic.
