The State of Hawaii is <br /> donating this equipment to the County of Hawaii Police Department. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution accepting the donation of one 2019 Chevy cargo truck and <br /> various equipment from the State of Hawaii. This truck and equipment, with an <br /> estimated value of$429,287.37, will be utilized by the Hawaii Interisland Bomb Squad. <br /> The Police Department respectfully requests that this resolution be waived from Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the June 15, 2022 Council agenda in order to expedite this <br /> process.
