The property is located at the southwest corner of the Haihai <br /> Street—Ainaola Drive intersection, Waiakea Homesteads 2nd Series, South Hilo, Hawai`i. <br /> The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council as <br /> recommended by the Planning Director's recommendation with the following amendments: <br /> • Condition G (Roadway Construction): The Commission voted to adopt the applicant's <br /> proposed changes to Condition G to delete "driveway" and replace it with the following: <br /> "subdivision roadways." The amendment to Condition G takes into consideration that no <br /> direct driveway connections onto Ainaola Drive or Haihai Street is proposed, which is further <br /> restricted in Condition F. <br /> • Condition H (Streetlights, Signs and Markings): The Commission voted to adopt the <br /> applicant's proposed changes to Condition H to add the following: "along interior roadways <br /> and in proximity to its intersections with Ainaola Drive and Haihai Street."
