Department of Public Works, Engineering Division <br /> SUBJECT; Stanford Carr Development, LLC Exemption Request for Ho'omalu at <br /> Waikoloa (Waikoloa Workforce Rental Housing) <br /> TM K: 6-9-008.032 <br /> We have reviewed the subject request and provide the following comments; <br /> 1 . The subject parcel is in an area designated as Zone X on the Flood Insurance Rate <br /> Map (FIRM) by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Zone X is an <br /> area determined to be outside the 500-year floodplain. <br /> 2. All earthwork and grading shall conform to Chapter 10, Erosion and Sediment <br /> Control, of the Hawaii County Code unless exempt by a valid building permit- <br /> 3- All development-generated runoff shall be disposed of on site and not directed <br /> toward any adjacent properties. A drainage study shall be prepared and the <br /> recommended drainage system shall be constructed meeting the approval of the <br /> Department of Public Works, <br /> 4.
