HO'OMALU AT WAIKOLOA 201 H APPLICATION PG.6 <br /> Proposed Uses • 229 affordable multifamily rental homes (100% affordable; no <br /> market-rate rentals). <br /> • A community center featuring a function room,a recreation deck <br /> with a playground, barbeque areas, swimming pool as well as a <br /> gym, restrooms, mail center and administration offices for <br /> management and services. <br /> • A childcare facility with four classrooms within the community <br /> center complex open to all residents of the island community at <br /> large. <br /> Affordability • Rates for the affordable rental housing will be in accordance with <br /> the Affordable Housing Guidelines for the County of Hawaii <br /> targeting a wide range of household incomes, with 161 units <br /> serving up to 60% AMI and the remining 68 units serving up to <br /> 100% AMI. <br /> • Apartments will be kept affordable for a minimum of 65 years. <br /> Infrastructure and • Water and wastewater: Hawaii Water Service Co., Inc. dba West <br /> Environment Hawaii Utility Company (private company) has provided a will <br /> serve letter for the project. <br /> • Traffic.
