Reference Exhibit 5: Housing Development Experience, in this <br /> description. <br /> Stanford Carr Development, LLC (SCD) has been developing real estate since 1990, <br /> with a primary focus in building homes for Hawaii's demographics, completing its first <br /> affordable home project Kekuilani (Kapolei Villages 4) in 1994. Since then, SCD has <br /> further expanded its capabilities to include development of LIHTC apartment rentals, <br /> including Franciscan Vistas, Halekauwila Place and Hale Kewalo in Honolulu. SCD <br /> has affiliate companies in related fields including architectural design, general <br /> brokerage, homebuilding, indemnity, and window supply/installation. <br /> SCD, together with its mainland partner, recently acquired HHFDC's six property <br /> portfolio comprising 1,221 affordable rental apartments on Oahu, Maui and the Big <br /> Island, and is currently in the process of completing an $85 million preservation and <br /> rehabilitation program. SCD has established a non-profit corporation, Komohale <br /> Services, with a primary mission to enrich the lives of its residents in affordable <br /> apartment communities by assisting them with financial literacy, health maintenance, <br /> and educational counseling.
