Legislative Update: Ton Okudara to provide an update on any legislative <br /> items. Friendly reminder to counties about the legislative timeline, included <br /> below. <br /> o September 23, 2022—Deadline to receive proposals (in legislative bill <br /> format)from each County to be included in the 2023 HSAC Legislative <br /> Package. <br /> o September 30, 2022— Schedule HSAC Executive Committee.Meeting to <br /> discuss and act on all proposals submitted by the Counties. Approved <br /> proposals will then be forwarded to each County for consideration. <br /> {Note: The proposed HSAC Legislative Package will be <br /> transmitted to each County Council for consideration. <br /> Unanimous approval is required for each proposal to remain in <br /> the HSAC Legislative Package.) <br /> o November 23, 2022—Deadline for the Counties to approve the proposed <br /> 2023 HSAC Legislative Package and report back to HSAC. <br /> o December 15, 2022(tentative date)— Schedule HSAC Executive <br /> Committee Meeting to approve the final 2023 HSAC Legislative <br /> Package. <br /> 5. General Administrative Duties:ED has been working on fundraising ideas <br /> for future budgets, including looking into corporate sponsorship programs, as <br /> well as website sponsors, educational seminars, as well adding a luncheon or <br /> breakfast event in addition to the current conference and golf tournament. <br /> Additional notes: <br />
