Section 14.5.2.13 is added to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "14.5.2.13 In accordance with the building code, security gates may be permitted <br /> across corridors or passageways in school buildings if there is a readily visible <br /> durable sign on or adjacent to the gate, stating`THIS GATE IS TO REMAIN <br /> SECURED IN THE OPEN POSITION WHENEVER THIS BUILDING IS IN <br /> USE'. The sign shall be in letters not less than one inch high on a contrasting <br /> background. The use of this exception may be revoked by the building official for <br /> due cause."
