SYNOPSIS <br /> On July 12, 19 and 26, 2021, the Office of Housing and Community Development <br /> published a Public Notice informing property owners that the OHCD was accepting <br /> proposals for the Section 8 Project Based Voucher Program. Through the Request For <br /> Proposal process, 5 projects were selected: E Komo Mai Apartments (9 vouchers), Hale <br /> Ola 0 Mohouli (18 vouchers), Hualalai Court (28 vouchers), Kamakoa Nui Workforce <br /> Housing (30 vouchers), and Kuakini Heights (20 Vouchers). <br /> OHCD is requesting authorization for the Mayor to enter into a multi-year agreement <br /> with property owners or property managers of the selected Project-Based Voucher <br /> projects. Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of <br /> more than one fiscal year, be approved by resolution. <br />
