This agreement is for the establishment and operation of a local <br /> project under the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America(VISTA) program. The <br /> VISTA project will establish and sustain a Community-Based Participatory Practice that <br /> engages and builds the capacity of community to identify, define, address, solve, and <br /> evaluate issues in their own community. <br /> The Department of Research and Development requests that this resolution be waived <br /> from the Finance Committee and be placed on the July 6, 2023 Council agenda in order <br /> to expedite this transaction. <br /> If there are any questions,please do not hesitate to call Frecia Cevallos of the Department <br /> of Research and Development at 961-8501. <br /> Deanna S.
