KIK <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 339 23 <br />RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CLERK III POSITION <br />FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development is in need <br />of a Clerk III position to provide administrative support for the department, and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development has grown <br />significantly, and this position is necessary to provide clerical support to the <br />Administrative Services Assistant and numerous Specialists; and <br />WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Clerk III, SR -10; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai'i County Charter <br />states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions... for which <br />appropriations have been made by the council...", now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />that one (1) Clerk III, SR -10, position be created in the Department of <br />Research and Development. <br />
