REQUEST. <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a period of five (5) years for a <br />60" Deck Rotary Mower for the Department of Parks and Recreation Hilo Municipal Golf Course. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED). <br />The 60 inch Deck Rotary Mower will be used to maintain the fairways and the ro9ugh edges at the Hilo <br />mowers <br />Municipal Golf Course. The department currently has two (2) that, 131ilized 7 days a week. This <br />high usage results in the mowers needing constant repairs with increasing costs. <br />The 60 inch Deck Rotary Mower will be leased for a period of five (5) years. The purchase price is estimated <br />at $77,000.00. The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $1,350.00. <br />Funding for the lease is included in the FY2023-24 Budget.
