REQUEST. <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a period of five (5) years for a <br />5 Gang Rotary Mower for the Department of Parks and Recreation Hilo Municipal Golf Course. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED) <br />The 5 Gang Rotary Mower willused to maim inn the fairways at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course. The <br />department currently has two (pe mowers thatlu ufilized 7 days a week. This high usage results in the <br />mowers needing constant repairs with increasing costs. <br />The 5 Gang Rotary Mower will be leased for a period of five (5) years. The purchase price is estimated at <br />$108,000.00. The estimated monthly cost for the lease is $1,900.00. <br />Funding for the lease is included in the FY2023-24 Budget.
