On November 7, 1997, a second prehearing <br />conference was conducted in Conference Room 405, Leiopapa A <br />Kamehameha Building, 235 South Beretania Street, Honolulu, Oahu, <br />with representatives of Petitioner, Office of Planning, <br />Intervenor E Mau, Intervenor LT, Intervenor HDC, and Intervenor <br />KIC present. <br />57. On December 2, 1997, the Commission conducted a <br />continued hearing on the Petition, as amended, and considered <br />Intervenor E Mau's Motion to Declare Petition Still Defective; or <br />in the Alternative, Portions Still Defective. Upon consideration <br />of the written and oral arguments provided by the parties, the <br />Commission denied Intervenor E au's Motion to Declare Petition <br />Still Defective on in the Alternative, Portions Still Defective. <br />The Commission continued the hearing until such time that <br />clarification could be obtained from SHPD regarding DLNR <br />concurrence pursuant to HRS 6E. <br />58. On January 26, 1998, the Commission issued its <br />Order Denying Intervenor E Mau Na Ala Hele's Motion to Declare <br />the Petition Still Defective; or in the Alternative, Portions <br />Still Defective. <br />59. The Commission conducted continued hearings on the <br />Petition, as amended on the following dates: February 12, 1998; <br />March 19, 1998; and April 30, 1998. <br />60.
