reclassification of the Petition <br />goals,stated - standards - General <br />83. The Petition, as amended, <br />the Kona Regional Plan ("KRP") adopted by the Hawaii County <br />Planning Commission as Resolution No. 1 84. The KRP is intended <br />to be used as a guide to help shape the nature of future land use <br />actions for the Kona area. The KRP's Land Use Concept Map <br />designates the Petition Area as CG (general commercial), CV <br />(village commercial), and RES - 4, 6, and 10 (residential - 4, 6 <br />and 10 units per acre). <br />;, The Petition Area is either <br />3 -acre (A -3a), Agricultural 1 -acre (A -la) or Unplanned (U) on the <br />County's zoning map. Changes to the appropriate County urban <br />zoning district may be initiated by Petitioner. <br />• - •- <br />Kuakini Highway are within the County's Special Management Area <br />VISMAII). Any development contemplated within the SMA would <br />require a SMA Use Permit from the Planning Commission. <br />f Petitioner . applied • _ State reduce <br />the <br />SMA in the region.
