Additional federally derived funds in the <br /> amount of$118,750 are being provided to the Civil Defense Agency to fund the updating <br /> of the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Pland and to purchase Adobe software licenses. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Civil Defense Agency's Civil Defense EMPG account. <br /> The Civil Defense Agency is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the February 21, 2024 Council agenda in order to expedite <br /> the receipt of these funds.
