These funds will be used to advance the <br /> County of Hawai`i's work on Multi-Modal Transportation.Safety. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed <br /> is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $75,000. <br /> The Planning Department is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance <br /> Committee and be placed on the May 15, 2024 Council agenda in order to expedite the <br /> receipt of these funds.
