COUNTY OF HAWAI'I STATE OF HAWAI'I <br /> E oF•N�� , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 537 24 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A <br /> LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR <br /> A MULTI-YEAR LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAI`I IN KEA`AU, DISTRICT OF PUNA. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or <br /> other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of <br /> more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County of Hawai`i desires to lease approximately 800 square feet of a <br /> warehouse situated in Kea'au, County and State of Hawai`i, from Milo Storage, LLC <br /> ("Landlord") for various County departments and agencies to utilize as an additional storage <br /> area; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County of Hawaii desires to enter into a multi-year lease agreement <br /> which is anticipated to commence on July 1, 2024, for a five-year term, with the option to renew <br /> the lease for two (2) additional five (5)year terms with Landlord; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I that the <br /> Honorable Mitchell Roth, Mayor of the County of Hawai`i, is hereby authorized to enter into a <br /> multi-year lease with Milo Storage, LLC, for a five-year term with options as indicated above. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years <br /> to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the amended Lease. <br />
