No. 537-24 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 3:46 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 537-24, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 537-24, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa, via Communication <br /> No. 902, dated May 30, 2024, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than <br /> one fiscal year for a multi-year lease of real property for the County of Hawai`i in Kea'au, District of <br /> Puna. <br /> This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an option to extend <br /> for two additional five-year terms with Milo Storage, LLC, for approximately 800 square feet of <br /> warehouse space. <br /> Property Manager Hamana Ventura was present in Kona Chambers to answer any questions. <br /> Committee Chair Matt K5neali`i-Kleinfelder commented on the number of units the county has acquired <br /> in this facility and asked how many total units there were in that facility. Mr. Ventura stated there were <br /> a total of three units and they occupied all three.
