COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAPI <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5G2 24 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MULTI- <br />YEAR AGREEMENT WITH SP COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, LLC, TO <br />REPLACE HAWAI`I COUNTY SHARED -USE ELECTRIC VEHICLES <br />WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br />lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later <br />fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development desires to enter into <br />a multi -year agreement for ten (10) years with SP County of Hawaii, LLC; and <br />WHEREAS, is purpose of this agreement is to replace the County's disposed <br />shared -use electric vehicle fleet with eight new electric vehicles; and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement covers the cost of the vehicles, paint <br />protection/ceramic film, stickers, decals, dealer accessories, Iice nselregistration, <br />delivery, maintenance reserve, monthly detailing service, and cloud -based telematics <br />asset management; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI: <br />1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a ten (10) year agreement, <br />with SP County of Hawaii, LLC for the purpose as described above. <br />2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br />anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement <br />
