County of Hawai`i <br /> CM Kimball: Budget discussions, received 2nd budget from Mayor at beginning of the month. <br /> Anticipating $60M for hazard pay settlement, still in negotiations. Call attention to the youth <br /> conference, 80 8th grade students participated to draft a reso. The rest is reflected in the written <br /> report. <br /> ii. County of Kaua`i <br /> CM Rapozo: Written report was submitted. Housing credits, trying to provide credits for <br /> developers, the housing authority wants to be able to take people out of order on the list if they <br /> live closer to the development. Raising property taxes for hotels and resorts up 90 cents. $11.75, <br /> Kauai is the same as Maui, Hawaii county is the lowest. All revenue generated in increase comes <br />
