SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257, Schedule 5, entitled <br />"35 mile per hour limit", subsection (e) Kohala, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, <br />as amended), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read as <br />follows: <br />• Akoni Pule Highway, manka side, from a point one thousand three hundred eight feet <br />southeast of HWY 250 and extending eight thousand four hundred eighty-six feet in the <br />southeasterly direction. <br />0 Akoni Pule Highway, manka side, from a point thirteen thousand one hundred fift-four <br />feet southeast of HWY 250 and extending to the end of road at Pololu Valley Lookout. <br />0 Akoni Pule Highway, makai side, from the end of road at Pololu Valley Lookout and <br />extending twenty-six thousand nine hundred ninety-seven feet in the northwesterly <br />direction. <br />0 Akoni Pule Highway, makai side, from a point thirty thousand seven hundred forty-two <br />feet northeast of Pololu Valley Lookout and extending eight thousand three hundred eight <br />feet in the northwesterly direction. <br />SECTION 4. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br />need not be included. <br />SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br />to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br />applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br />application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />2 <br />
