COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />BILL NO. 205 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24- <br />279, SCHEDULE 27 OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS <br />AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING ON PAVEMENT PROHIBITED AT ALL <br />TIMES AND CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5, SECTION 24-280, SCHEDULE <br />28 OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), <br />RELATING TO NO PARKING AT ANYTIME. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br />SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to promote vehicular access and <br />pedestrian safety on a narrow section of roadway. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-279, schedule 27, entitled <br />"Parking on pavement prohibited at all times," subsection (e) Kohala, of the Hawaii County <br />Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately <br />inserted and to read as follows: <br />Y Opelo Road, east side, from a point fifty feet north of Kawaihae Road and extending one <br />hundred ninety-two feet in the northerly direction. <br />• Opelo Road, east side, from a point four hundred thirteen feet north of Kawaihae Road <br />and extendingtwenty-two wenty-two feet in the northerly direction. <br />• Opelo Road, east side, from a point four hundred ninety-two feet north of Kawaihae Road <br />and extending one hundred eight feet in the northerly direction. <br />• Opelo Road, west side, from a point one hundred fifteen feet north of Kawaihae Road <br />and extending one hundred and seven feet in the northerly direction. <br />• Opelo Road, west side, from a point four hundred fifty-two feet north of Kawaihae Road <br />and extending fogy feet in the northerly direction. <br />
