BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDEQ: <br />ESG program provides funding to provide street outreach, emergency shelter, homelessness prevention, rapid re -housing <br />assistance, and data collection through the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) in the County of Hawaii- <br />ESG <br />The OHCDis anticipating the receipt of the 2024HUD Grant Agreement which includes the CDBG and ESG program <br />funds inthe week of September 16. Therefore, the OHCD requests bypassing Committee and have this revision to <br />Resolution 464-24introduced atthe October 2.%D24Council meeting. This revision isbeing requested only bzinclude <br />Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) funU|ng, which was not included in the original resolution. <br />The Action Plan was submitted toHUD and included the actual projects and activities that will be carried out with the <br />County's 2024 CDBG, HOME, and HTF funds.
