Legislative Report <br />N Parsons: If you're in person on Oahu for whatever reason, this applies to the HSAC executive <br />committee, I can reach out from now until December to do some legislative meetings. Maybe you <br />can let me know an afternoon that you have open and I can see if we can get a couple of <br />meetings scheduled to touch bases with some legislators. <br />Motion to accept reports. Approved. <br />5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />a. Review and approval of the following documents from Carbonaro CPAs & <br />Management Group: <br />i. Conflict of interest policy. <br />ii. Whistleblower policy. <br />iii. Document retention and destruction policy. <br />We're gonna have an extension on the actual filing. So we can wait for the documents. But we have to <br />make the payment. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Discussion and review of A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING UTAH v UNITED <br />STATES LEGAL ACTION AS SET FORTH IN UNITED STATES SUPREME <br />COURT DOCKET NO. 220160, presented by Council member Sue Lee Loy, <br />NACo Board member, from Hawaii County Council. <br />Michelle Galimba: I just worry that they're not going to be as environmentally conscious as I believe <br />they should be. Ranchers do have a very strong interest in grazing and sometimes those uses can <br />conflict with some of the ecological and environmental best practices. <br />Sue Lee Loy: My opinion is to show support to them. <br />Esther Kia'aina: I don't think we should also be looking at the bigger picture of our Federal <br />delegation and the relationship with these States. <br />b.
