No. 67/Res. No. 46-25 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 46-25, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 46-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication <br />No. 67, dated December 18, 2024, approves the award of funds to various nonprofit organizations <br />for programs addressing housing and homelessness by the Office of Housing and Community <br />Development. <br />This resolution proposes 15 grant awards to 9 different nonprofit organizations for a total of <br />$10,500,000 in funding that was derived from Residential Tier Two property tax revenues. <br />Housing Administrator Kehaulani Costa, Assistant Housing Administrator Keiko Mercado, Real <br />Property Tax Administrator Lisa Miura, and Deputy Corporation Counsel Sylvia Wan were present <br />in chambers for questions. <br />Ms. Costa and Ms. Mercado provided background on this measure. Multiple members commented in <br />support of it.
