No. 85/Res. No. 57-25 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 57-25, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 57-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication <br />No. 85, dated January 2, 2025, authorizes the Mayor to enter into a multi -year agreement to <br />implement electronic citations in Hawaii County. <br />This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year agreement with an estimated cost of <br />$249,334 for the first year and $241,614.63 for years two through five to implement an electronic <br />citation program. <br />Traffic Safety Coordinator Torey Keltner attended via Zoom and provided an overview of the <br />program. <br />Committee Member Rebecca Villegas requested additional clarification on the electronic citation <br />program.
